Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using stoneandtimber.net, purchasing any of our products, enrolling in a course, or joining our community, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our site or services.
Who We Are
Stone and Timber is a woodworking education platform operated by Andy Ryder, based in Venice, Florida. We offer digital woodworking plans, online courses, and a community through stoneandtimber.net. You can reach us at [email protected].
Products and Digital Downloads
What you receive: When you purchase a digital product from our store (such as woodworking plans, cut lists, SVG files, or guides), you receive immediate access to download that product after payment is confirmed.
License: All digital products sold by Stone and Timber are for your personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise stated in the product listing. You may:
Download and print the files for your own personal builds
Use SVG files with your own CNC router or laser cutter for personal projects
Build and sell finished physical items made from our plans (unless the product listing states otherwise)
You may not:
Resell, redistribute, or share our digital files with others
Claim our plans or files as your own work
Use our plans for mass commercial manufacturing without written permission
Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure our plans are accurate and complete. However, woodworking involves variables including tool calibration, wood species, and individual skill level. Stone and Timber is not responsible for errors resulting from individual interpretation or execution of our plans. Always verify measurements before cutting.
Courses
When you enroll in a Stone and Timber course, you receive access to the course content for the duration specified at the time of purchase. Course content is for your personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.
We reserve the right to update, improve, or modify course content at any time. We will not remove course access you have paid for without reasonable notice.
Community Membership
Our community is currently free to join and is hosted at guild.stoneandtimber.net. In the future, we may introduce paid membership tiers with additional benefits. By joining, you agree to:
Treat all members and staff with respect
Not post spam, promotional content, or links to competing products without permission
Not share content from inside the community publicly without permission from the original poster
Follow any additional community guidelines posted within the platform
We reserve the right to remove any member from the community for behavior that violates these standards.
Refund Policy
Digital products (plans, SVG files, guides): Because digital products are delivered immediately upon purchase and cannot be "returned," all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue with your download — such as a corrupted file or missing content — contact us at [email protected] and we will make it right.
Courses: Course refund eligibility will be stated at the time of purchase for each individual course offering.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at [email protected] and we will review your case promptly.
Community membership: Community memberships are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
